Curriculum

The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE, New Delhi and the structure is in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 . The guiding goals being holistic development ,critical thinking,creativity and 21st century skills.
 

Academic Structure

1. Pre-Primary (Nursery to KG):

  • Focus on play-based and experiential learning.

  • Development of motor skills, language, numeracy, and social interaction.

  • Activities include storytelling, music, art, outdoor play, and group games.

2. Primary (Classes I–V):

  • Foundation in core subjects: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and General Knowledge.

  • Emphasis on joyful learning, foundational literacy and numeracy, and conceptual understanding.

  • Introduction to ICT, music, arts, and physical education.

3. Middle School (Classes VI–VIII):

  • Subjects: English, Hindi/Third Language (as per three-language formula), Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Arts, and Physical Education.

  • Encourages inquiry-based learning, projects, group activities, and ICT integration.

  • Regular assessments for feedback and improvement.

4. Secondary (Classes IX–X):

  • Subjects as per CBSE guidelines: English, Hindi/Sanskrit/Regional Language, Mathematics (Standard/Basic), Science, Social Science, Computer Applications, etc.

  • CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) pattern followed.

  • Internal assessments, projects, practicals, and regular tests.

  • Emphasis on preparation for CBSE board exams in Class X.

5. Senior Secondary (Classes XI–XII):

  • Streams offered: Science, Commerce, Humanities (based on school offerings).

  • Core and elective subjects as per CBSE norms.

  • Focus on career readiness, entrance exam preparation (JEE, NEET, CUET, etc.).

  • Labs, research projects, fieldwork, and experiential learning encouraged.


    Teaching Methodology

  • Activity-based and learner-centered approach.

  • Integration of technology through smart classrooms, online resources, and educational apps.

  • Regular workshops, seminars, and inter-disciplinary activities.


    Co-Scholastic Areas

  • Art, music, dance, yoga, sports, and life skills are part of the curriculum.

  • House system, clubs, and leadership programs for personality development.


    Assessment and Evaluation

  • As per CBSE's latest guidelines (includes periodic tests, notebook submission, subject enrichment activities, and term-end exams).

  • Emphasis on formative and summative assessments.

  • Transparent and constructive feedback system.
